Xyliance is a non-ionic oil-in-water (O/W) emulsifier blended with cetearyl alcohol (also known as Lanette O). Supplied as yellow flakes, this emulsifier is derived from plant-based raw materials and is BDIH-compliant. It is melted into the oil phase at 70°C. Xyliance is easy to work with, tolerates a wide pH range, and imparts a light, pleasant texture to creams and lotions. Naturally, the consistency can be adjusted to suit specific requirements by adding other co-emulsifiers or butters. Melting range:  60–70°C  HLB:  8  Usage concentration:  3–6%
