VITAprot – the plant-based alternative to retinol (vitamin A)!
 
The special protein fraction from the seeds of the Indian cowpea (Vigna aconitifolia) has a similar effect to retinol – the benchmark among anti-aging ingredients. While retinol and its derivatives are not particularly stable in emulsions and can cause irritation at higher concentrations or on sensitive skin, VITAprot impresses with its high stability, ease of use, and excellent tolerability, even on sensitive skin.
 
VITAprot has been shown to: 
1. Stimulate cell growth and renewal.
2. Stimulate collagen synthesis and inhibit the collagen-degrading enzyme collagenase.
3. Prevent DNA damage in skin cells that can be caused by UV light or other harmful environmental influences.
 
 
Conclusion:
It intensively promotes skin renewal processes, smooths the skin, and makes it appear more even. The white-beige powder is free of preservatives and suitable for natural cosmetics.
 
Solubility:
Water-soluble Application concentration: 0.2–0.4%
 
Processing:
Dissolve in a little water (10% m/m) and stir into the lukewarm emulsion. The temperature should be below 60°C. Ensure that the pH value is between 3 and 8. VITAprot is not suitable for formulations containing cationic compounds.
