Polyglyceryl-3 dicitrate/stearate is a 100% plant-based O/W emulsifier that stands out for its versatility and ease of use. This emulsifier is compatible with many active ingredients, tolerates high electrolyte levels, and enables stable O/W emulsions in the pH range of 4.5–8.0. Polyglyceryl-3 dicitrate/stearate is particularly suitable for formulations that are to be preserved with organic acids such as Rokonsal BSB-N or Dermosoft 1388 ECO at a pH < 5.5.
