Emulwitor 375 is a partially neutralized ester of mono- and diglycerides of unsaturated fatty acids with lactic and citric acid. The food-grade (anionic) O/W emulsifier is free from palm oil derivatives. Instead, it is based on sunflower oil and sugar beets of local, i.e. Central European, origin.
The liquid but highly viscous emulsifier allows pleasantly light formulations that leave a long-lasting velvety feel on the skin. Emulwitor 375 is highly soluble in fatty oils, but also readily dispersible in water. In principle, the emulsifier can also be processed cold, but better results can be achieved with "hot processes". The versatile emulsifier, which works without problems in the pH range of 4-7, is very well tolerated by skin & mucous membranes and very efficient even at low dosages.
Since Emulwitor 375 contains unsaturated fatty acids, the use of antioxidants (e.g. Flavoxan 14 or vitamin E vegetable together with vitamin C palmitate) is recommended in the formulations.
Emulwitor375 should be stored in a cool (T< 25 °C), dry and dark place if possible.
