The green to brown extract, which is viscous at room temperature, is obtained by high-pressure extraction with natural swelling carbonic acid. In a further process step (also with natural swelling carbonic acid), the extract is aroma-reduced and then standardized with sunflower oil (organic) to a content of 49 - 51 % total humulones and lupulones. This hop CO2 extract is 100% natural and contains mainly the non-volatile CO2-soluble ingredients. Due to its antimicrobial properties, Hop CO2 Extract is recommended for use in deodorants as well as in deodorant and anti-inflammatory formulations for skin and foot care.
