This birch extract is a yellow-brown powder. The liquid extract of birch leaves is concentrated in a gentle cold vacuum process (spray drying) and applied to the carrier material maltodextrin. Since time immemorial, birch extract has been used in hair tonics, shampoos, and conditioners to promote hair growth and prevent dandruff. Thanks to its circulation-promoting, skin-soothing, and wound-healing effect, however, the extract is also highly recommended for skin care.
