The very intensely fragrant Ylang Ylang oil (botan. name: Cananga odorata) is distilled using steam from the blossoms of the Ylang Ylang tree (Malay for "flower of the flower"). The fruity, exotic floral scent is versatile and defines the heart note in fragrance blends. It is generally well tolerated.
