The extract from the frankincense resin is prepared and preserved in glycerine. The frankincense extract, known for its content of boswellic acids, shows a remarkable anti-inflammatory effect and is therefore recommended for inflammatory skin conditions, but also in formulations for mature, stressed skin (anti-aging concepts).
