Sodium Lauroyl Methyl Isethionate (SLMI) is an ultra-mild (making it ideal for sensitive skin!), sulfate-free surfactant that can be used as either a primary or secondary surfactant. In formulations, it produces a dense, creamy foam, ensures gentle yet thorough cleansing, rinses off easily, and leaves the skin feeling pleasant thanks to its mild conditioning effect. Due to its excellent water solubility, SLMI allows for the creation of clear liquid formulations. SLMI is more hydrolytically stable than many common ester compounds and can therefore be incorporated into formulations with a pH range of 4.5 to 8.5. Sodium Lauroyl Methyl Isethionate is readily biodegradable.WAS:  80–85% (active matter content)  Processing:  SLMI is dissolved in water at 50–60°C. Subsequently, the other formulation ingredients can be added during the cooling phase. Usage concentration:  Up to 20%
