Shea butter, also known as carite butter, can be found in a wide variety of skincare products. The universally applicable consistency provider is very well tolerated by the skin, and has a refatting and skin-smoothing effect. Shea butter enables very smooth creams and is therefore ideal for irritated or stressed skin.
 
The refined organic shea butter offered here is certified by Ecocert. Its firmer consistency especially promotes skin barrier strengthening and skin soothing effects. The shea butter is almost odorless.
 
Shea butter is soluble in alcohol and oil. It is incorporated via the fat phase.
