Black cumin oil, used in folk medicine as a "cure-all", is extracted from the seeds of black cumin plants by high-pressure extraction with natural swelling carbonic acid. This oil contains neither solvent residues nor residues of inorganic salts and heavy metals. The black cumin oil is stabilized with rosemary antioxidants.
 
Its anti-inflammatory, anti-bacterial, and anti-fungal effects can be attributed to the unique combination of essential oil, polyunsaturated fatty acids, and other active ingredients. It contains about 45-65 % linolenic acid, as well as about 1 % of the rare eicosadic acid. In addition, it contains at least 2 % essential oil, especially at least 1 % of the medically effective thymoquinone.
 
Black cumin oil is predestined for the care of inflammatory skin conditions, especially acne, psoriasis, or neurodermatitis.
