Rügen healing chalk is obtained from natural chalk deposits on the island of Rügen and consists of 98% calcium carbonate. This gives it a pH value of approx. 8.5. The powdery healing chalk can be processed with water to form a homogeneous, velvety-soft formula.
 
It promotes deacidification and is also said to strengthen the immune system. In physiotherapy, packs with Rügen healing chalk help against muscle tension, rheumatic complaints, nerve pain, but also with lymphatic congestion.
In dermatology, supportive treatments for atopic dermatitis, psoriasis but also acne take place.
