Preserve PE 9010 is a liquid broad-spectrum preservative based on phenoxyethanol and ethylhexylglycerin, with the latter enhancing the preservative properties of the phenoxyethanol. It is suitable for use across a wide pH range (up to pH < 12). Preserve PE 9010 is characterized by high stability and good solubility in various cosmetic products. It dissolves clearly at usage concentrations of 0.5–1.0%. While it tolerates high salt concentrations, its efficacy decreases in the presence of high surfactant concentrations. It is heat-stable up to 100°C.
