Preserve PE 9010 is a liquid broad-spectrum preservative based on phenoxyethanol and ethylhexylglycerol, which enhances the preservative property of phenoxyethanol. The preservative can be used in a wide pH range down to pH < 12. Preserve PE9010 is characterized by high stability and its good solubility in various cosmetics. At use concentrations of 0.5 - 1.0 %, Preserve PE9010 is soluble. It tolerates high salt concentrations but loses effectiveness at high surfactant concentrations in the product. It is temperature stable up to 100 °C.
Application concentration:
0.5 - 1.0 % in emulsions, shampoos and shower gels.
