The high gamma-linolenic acid content makes evening primrose oil very suitable for dry, mature, or flaky skin. The active ingredient oil supports the regeneration of the skin barrier and improves the skin's ability to retain moisture. It is rich in many essential fatty acids.

Evening primrose oil is produced by cold pressing the seeds. It is then refined, which makes it more durable than virgin evening primrose oil. Nevertheless, it should be stored in a dark, cool place.

Evening primrose oil is suitable for further processing in cosmetic products such as creams, shampoos, body lotions, ointments, and bath oils.
