Organic, Deodorized Cocoa Butter
 
This Ecocert-certified, deodorized cocoa butter is sourced from organic farming, is food-grade, and has a tempting cocoa aroma.
 
The pale yellow pellets, which are used in many cosmetic products as a thickening agent, are notable for their melting behavior.
 
While the cocoa butter is still very hard below its melting range of 30–35°C, it begins to melt immediately upon reaching body temperature. This “melting” sensation, familiar from chocolate, is partly responsible for the velvety feel on the skin provided by corresponding creams and lotions.
 
Cocoa butter, with its excellent moisturizing properties, is particularly recommended for the care of dry and irritated skin.
 
Please note that emulsions containing cocoa butter sometimes continue to set and do not reach their final consistency until after 1–2 days.
