This red-hued, 100% natural St. John's wort oil (an active ingredient oil) is obtained through maceration in soybean oil. Thanks to its circulation-boosting and pain-relieving properties, it is commonly used for muscle tension, cracked skin, and sunburn—either as a massage oil or as an active ingredient in an emulsion. Please note, however, that St. John's wort oil increases the skin's sensitivity to light. Therefore, it should not be applied before sunbathing.
