Isoamyl laurate (Sensolv) is a polar oil that, thanks to its low viscosity and surface tension, is widely used in natural cosmetics as a very good spreading and dispersing agent. Since it is exceptionally good at dispersing pigments, it imparts a very pleasant skin feel in sunscreen formulations, as well as in decorative cosmetics. Due to its excellent skin compatibility, it is also in great demand in cleansing formulations, skincare, and baby care products. Made from natural raw materials and certified by Ecocert, Isoamyl Laurate (Sensolv) is suitable for both hot and cold emulsion processes.
