Green tea extract is widely used in cosmetics. In addition to numerous minerals, vitamins (B, B2, B12, C), and amino acids, the extract contains stimulating caffeine as well as notable plant-based active ingredients—such as epigallocatechin gallate (a highly effective antioxidant that protects against free radicals) and antimicrobial tannins. Thanks to its decongestant and anti-inflammatory properties, this extract is recommended for mature and stressed skin. Processed with glycerin, the extract contains the hydrophilic constituents derived from 1.5 kg of fresh tea leaves.  Usage concentration: 1 – 10%  pH value: 4.0 – 5.0  Processing: Stir into the cooled (lukewarm) emulsion.
