The extract of green tea is widely used in cosmetics. In addition to many minerals, vitamins (B, B 2, B 12, C), and amino acids, the extract also contains stimulating caffeine and such interesting plant active substances as the antioxidant epigallocatechin gallate, which is very effective in protecting against free radicals, and antimicrobial tannins. This extract is recommended for mature and stressed skin with its decongestant and anti-inflammatory properties.
The extract, prepared with glycerin, contains the hydrophilic ingredients from 1.5 kg of fresh tea leaves.
