Glyceryl Stearate Citrate Palm Oil Free (GSC POF) is a 100% plant-based, food-grade O/W emulsifier suitable for thermostable emulsions, sunscreen formulations, creams, and lotions thanks to its high melting point. Unlike conventional Glyceryl Stearate Citrate, Glyceryl Stearate Citrate Palm Oil Free (GSC POF) is based on canola oil. The white-to-beige powder is melted at 65 to 80°C in the oil phase. The emulsifier enables formulations that are valued for their "moist skin feel."
