The O/W emulsifier is in the form of yellow pastilles which are melted in the oil phase. O/W emulsions based on Emulsan II tolerate urea, salts and a pH range of 4 to 8. Emulsan II is virtually predestined for moisturising creams and urea-containing formulations. By adding co-emulsifiers such as glyceryl stearate, cetyl alcohol or Lanette O (cetearyl alcohol), the consistency and stability of the emulsion can be additionally controlled. Emulsan II is 100% vegetable.
