VITAprot - the herbal alternative to retinol (vitamin A)!  The special protein fraction from the seeds of the Indian mat bean (Vigna Aconitifolia) has a similar effect to retinol - the reference among anti-aging active ingredients. While retinol or its derivatives are not very stable in emulsions and can cause irritation in higher concentrations or on sensitive skin, VITAprot is convincing due to its high stability, easy handling, and excellent tolerance even on sensitive skin.  VITAprot has been shown to: 1. stimulate cell growth and renewal, 2. stimulate collagen synthesis and inhibit the collagen-degrading enzyme collagenase, and 3. prevent DNA damage in skin cells that can be caused by UV light or other harmful environmental factors.

Solubility:
Water-soluble Application concentration: 0.2 - 0.4 %. 
 
Processing:
Dissolve in a little water (10 % m/m) and stir into the hand-warm emulsion. The temperature should be below 60 °C. Ensure that the pH value is between 3 and 8. VITAprot is not suitable for formulations containing cationic compounds.
