The natural niauli oil (botanical name: Melaleuca niauli) is reminiscent of eucalyptus. Its fresh fragrance is very aromatic, almost exotic. The essential oil is extracted by steam distillation from the leaves of the niauli tree, a relative of the tea tree. It is used as a top note in perfumes.
