The carrot extract is obtained via high-pressure extraction with natural swelling carbonic acid, standardized with jojoba oil from controlled organic cultivation, and stabilized with rosemary antioxidants.
With a slightly sweet carrot odor, this extract is present as a liquid red oil at room temperature. Please note that the extract becomes solid when stored in a cool place (jojoba oil!). The extract is rich in provitamin A (carotenoids) and contains traces of essential oil.
This extract is especially recommended for skin care cosmetics (mature skin; stressed and sensitive skin conditions) and sunscreen / after-sun care products.

0.15 - 0.21 % (carotene, lycopene) equivalent to 2500 - 3500 I.U. provitamin A.
