Anwendung & Verarbeitungstipps
Der Emulgator Care PBS-6 wird generell in der heißen Ölphase aufgeschmolzen (Schmelzbereich liegt bei ca. 54 °C). Er eignet sich hervorragend für flüssige bis niedrigviskose Formulierungen.
1. Formulierung von Lotionen
Für klassische, leichte Lotionen kombinierst du 2,5 – 4,0 % Care PBS-6 mit bis zu 3 % eines Konsistenzgebers (Co-Emulgator).
Experten-Tipp: Ideal ist eine 1:1-Mischung aus Glycerinstearat und Cetearyl Alcohol. Zur optimalen Langzeitstabilisierung der Wasserphase wird zusätzlich der Einsatz von 0,2 – 0,5 % Xanthan empfohlen.
2. Formulierung von Sprays & Sprühemulsionen
Für sprühbare Pflegeprodukte reichen neben den 2,5 – 4,0 % Care PBS-6 etwa 0,5 – 2,0 % Co-Emulgatoren (z. B. die oben genannte Kombination). Um ein Absetzen zu verhindern, stabilisierst du das Spray am besten mit 0,1 – 0,5 % Xanthan.
