The extract from the flowers of the marigold is known for its healing effect on skin problems. As a natural antiseptic and anti-inflammatory agent, calendula is considered one of the most suitable and popular medicinal plants for the treatment of minor wounds, sunburn, minor burns, and irritations of the skin. However, the brown-coloured extract, prepared with glycerine, is also very suitable for the daily care of stressed, or dry and cracked skin. The hydrophilic ingredients from approx. 750 g of fresh flowers from controlled organic cultivation are contained in one kilogram of this extract.
